Marine & Energy Infrastructure Management
Master Mariner Turned Global Energy Executive
Neil Henderson is the senior consultant you bring in to de-risk and deliver complex marine and energy infrastructure projects.
FOR OPERATORS, DEVELOPERS & INVESTORS
When Projects Do Not Forgive the Wrong Decisions
You are setting up a complex marine or energy infrastructure build, HVDC and cable, vessel conversion, or offshore construction, and you want it de-risked from the outset. The scope is high-stakes, the margin for error is thin, and the cost of getting the early decisions wrong is measured in months and millions.
Or, you are already holding one that is slipping. Over budget, behind schedule, exposed on compliance, or short of the operational leadership it needs. Every week it drifts further from where it should be.
Either way, you need someone who has genuinely done this at this scale, who will give you the straight read early, and who will take control and deliver.
Most senior advisors have only ever advised
Neil Henderson has commanded the vessel, run the operation, controlled the budget, and answered to the regulator. He went to sea as a deck cadet in 1974, rose to Master Mariner, then moved from the bridge into the operations those vessels served: offshore construction, subsea installation, vessel conversion, HVDC and cable. By the time he reached Vice President of Marine Operations, he had done every job he would later oversee.
That progression, from the back deck to VP level, is rare to the point of being almost singular. It is also the reason he can walk onto a complex project and know, within days, what is going to go wrong, or what already has. When Neil signs off a schedule, it is signed off by someone who has stood in every role behind it.

De-risk it early, or recover it late
The value is greatest early. Preventing a problem always costs less than fixing one.
